What’s better for Beerstitutionners than enjoying their favourite beer together? Going to the brewery to enjoy it even more!
Thanks to Geneva, we got the opportunity to host our 44th edition at Beau’s ! For those of you who don’t know Beau’s it’s an amazing micro brewery just 1h from Montreal, totally worth the trip. Just get a designated driver (Thank you Clare and Geneva) and hopped on. Destination : an amazing all natural brewing company, employee owned, certified organic and totally independent, what more can I say to convince you to go !?
The Tour:
We started our day with a tour of the brewery with Emily and Natasha, as a group of well behaved studen *cough* not so much *cough* we followed Natasha who showed us the inside out of the brewery. And sorry, they do not take interns, we were also bummed about it.
During our tour, we met Matt the Master Brewer of Beau’s. He was nice enough to take a picture with us even though we seem like crazy groupies
The Beers
Our heads were full we newly acquired knowledge on beers, we needed to put our mouth to the test to see if we would enjoy the taste even more (the answer is yes.).
After heading outside to enjoy the weather we were surprised by Matt and Emily with a experimental beer – BEST DAY EVER. This beer was really tasteful and the perfect session beer.
