Beerstitution Volume 63: OSHLAG

On an unseasonably warm January night, Nick, Corey, Laurent, Scully and Val said YES To Gen’s invite to visit the Oshlag brewery, take a little tour and have a little party inside the brewery! Well, let me tell you – it was awesome, eye-opening and chock full of wonderful beers! Read More

Beerstitution Volume 62: 4%

It’s December, there’s snow outside, Christmas is approaching, and the temperature has dropped down well below zero. The theme I chose, FLORAL, was in fact not that easy to find beers for even though “floral” is one of the most often quoted aspects of hop flavours and aromas. At any rate, My goal here was to isolate said floral-ness and see if we enjoyed it in the absence of the citrus, bitter bombs we also get from the normal hop suspects…
